Contacts integration
Learn how contacts help Symbiosis understand people and relationship context.
Overview
Contacts help Symbiosis connect names, phone numbers, email addresses, and conversation history to the people you actually know. This can make reminders and suggestions more useful because the product can understand that the same person may appear in more than one place.
Contacts
Permission-basedContact sync depends on the device or account permissions you grant. If contact access is disabled, relationship context may be incomplete.
Before connecting
- Review which device or account contact source Symbiosis is asking to use.
- Grant access only if you want Symbiosis to use those contacts for relationship context.
- Keep contact permissions enabled if you expect names and relationships to stay current.
Common fixes
If a person is missing or appears incomplete, confirm contact permissions are enabled on the device or account you connected. It may also take time for recent contact edits to appear in suggestions or people views.
Privacy expectation
Contacts can reveal personal relationships, phone numbers, email addresses, and notes. Connect them only when you are comfortable using that information to make Symbiosis more helpful.
